California Nurses Educational Institute
Welcome to the California Nurses Educational Institute’s web site!
The College has moved!
We have relocated to brand new expanded facilities at 5200 E. Ramon Road, Building I in Palm Springs. We are on the corner of Ramon and Gene Autry.
We appreciate your interest in our nursing education programs. We are committed to preparing students who will provide caring, compassionate and competent health care in our diverse community and will be successful in the nursing profession and in life.
CNEI offers several nursing programs including Licensed Vocational Nurse, Certified Nurse Assistant, Home Health Aide, Phlebotomy, and Psychiatric Technician. In addition, we offer State of California approved CPR and Continuing Education Units for CNAs. Our educational progams maintain high standards for nursing practice and enjoy an excellent reputation in our community.
Our graduates are in
high demand for employment in a variety of healthcare settings. There is a great potential for nursing in the
rapidly changing health care system, and our outstanding nursing faculty is
committed to preparing graduates who will be leaders of the future. Nursing is the nation's largest health care field. Many exciting and rewarding job opportunities can be found in nursing. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that employment for nurses will grow faster than any other occupation through 2015.
Nurses, in collaboration with those in other health disciplines, deliver preventive, restorative, and adaptive health care to people in a wide variety of acute care and community settings, such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, extended care facilities, private homes, public health departments, school settings, and surgery centers. Nursing offers a wide variety of opportunities for service to society, for personal growth, and for professional development.
We are looking forward to hearing from you and answering questions you may have related to your preparation for a career in nursing. We hope you'll decide to be part of the future in nursing.
Thank you
